By nature, I am a person who observes closely, listens intently, and looks for ways to help. Coaching in a professional capacity pulls together the threads of my life; my skills, education, passion for people, and work/life experience all woven together to make a positive impact working with people like you!
My educational background is in psychology, with a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Organizational Psychology earned in the UK. I applied my understanding of human behavior to a career in advertising and target audience analysis in NYC, then dedicated myself fully to parenting after a move to the West coast and the birth of my second child.
My return to work brought me a step closer to my passion for understanding and helping people. Tasked with protecting the interests of young adult au pairs in our area, I became immersed in mediation and interpersonal problem solving. I made two realizations that lead me to today: I really wanted to work one-on-one with people to help better their lives, and I enjoyed working with young adults. After several subsequent years at an educational foundation supporting the fundraising effort for our local schools, those realizations became reality. I certified as a coach at iPEC, an ICF accredited school, and now work in a space I am truly passionate about: helping others overcome blocks to create positive change in their lives.
I live in the San Francisco East Bay with my husband, our three pre-teen/teenage children, a dog, cats, chickens. I am active in our community, and in my children's lives. There is laughter, love, and support for one another in our household, and we make an effort to stay connected. Among my favorite things: hiking the hills, family game nights, and the simple pleasure of a beautiful sunset.
I look forward to meeting YOU, learning about your journey, what you aspire to, and helping you get there.
